Guest Access

You’ll have exclusive use of the home during your stay. The owners’ closets, indoor utility room, and outdoor storage shed are locked and unavailable to guests.

Booking Requirements

• The primary renter must be at least 25 years old.
• Maximum occupancy is 18 guests.
• Guests without reviews from previous hosts should contact us before booking.

Rental Agreement, ID Verification, and Security Hold

Local compliance requirements include a signed rental agreement and ID verification for the person booking.

Guests must also authorize a temporary, refundable $1,000 security deposit hold. This is an authorization hold, not an upfront charge, and is released if there is no damage or excessive cleaning required.

These steps are completed through the Happy Guest portal, a secure website that does not require an app or account.

Pet Policy

• Up to 2 house-trained dogs, age 2 or older, are welcome with prior approval.
• The pet fee is $200 per dog, per stay, excluding platform fees.
• A third dog may be considered for an additional fee.
• Cats and other pets are not permitted.
• Dogs must have current rabies vaccinations and flea and tick prevention.
• When booking through a platform with a “Guests > Pets” option, enter the number of dogs to apply the pet fee.
• A 24-by-36-inch dog kennel, bowls, and a pet mat are provided.

Check-In and Check-Out

• Check-in: 4:00 PM
• Check-out: 10:00 AM
• Early check-in or late check-out may be available for a small fee, depending on the cleaning schedule. Availability is confirmed the day before.

Safety and Security

The home is equipped with smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, and noise monitoring.

Exterior security cameras monitor the front and back entrances and must remain active at all times.

Mountain Setting

The home is in a wooded mountain setting. Please use caution around uneven terrain, wildlife, and changing weather conditions.

Keep doors and windows closed to help prevent insects and wildlife from entering. Occasional pests are part of the natural setting and are not grounds for a refund.

Additional Policies

• Refunds cannot be issued for circumstances beyond our control, including weather. Trip insurance is recommended.
• House rule violations may result in guests being asked to leave without a refund.
• All prices include fees, with no hidden charges. Please review the pet fees and optional early check-in or late check-out fees above.
